The approach to our in-house legal services involves building and managing some or all of these core elements of an effective legal and regulatory function:
1. Design
Conduct interviews with key personnel to understand your business and legal and regulatory compliance operations, including reviewing corporate formation and investor documents, key customer and vendor contracts, IT network architecture and data flows, intellectual property assets, and policies, process and controls.
Deliver a blueprint for establishing or closing any gaps in your baseline in-house legal operations.
2. Build
Develop tools and trackers compatible with your IT environment for monitoring your legal matters, contracts, intellectual property assets, etc. to give C-level management transparency into the volume, nature and status of legal matters.
Develop policies, processes and controls required by law, regulation or good corporate governance.
3. Operate
Day to day legal counseling, contract drafting and negotiations, regulatory compliance monitoring, advising on governance, financings, and stock option plans, and employee issues. Highly skilled at cross-functional collaboration with sales and product development teams.
4. Transition
Transfer our know-how about the company’s business and legal operations, key legal and regulatory risks, and status of legal matters in progress to your full-time in-house lawyer.
